Antibiotic resistance is a critical global challenge, requiring optimized therapies and adherence to clinical guidelines. Denmark's emergency departments face increasing complexities, making real-time AI solutions vital for effective decision support. Our system, TREAT-Essential, demonstrated significant clinical improvements during a pilot at Regionshospital Nordjylland, including reduced use of high-impact antibiotics and better adherence to guidelines.

The pilot also highlighted the importance of clinician engagement, workflow integration, and continuous feedback for successful adoption.
