KINDNS is an ICANN backed initiative to
promotes DNS operational security and operational BCPs and encourage DNS
operators to voluntarily commit to make the Internet safer and more resilient
for all users. I will cover the motivation behind the program, risks and
threats around the DNS today, the process to identify best practices around
security, privacy and operations, and the difficult decision of whether to
include a BCP in KINDNS, or not. Is the relevant to you or do you have an interest

Phil Regnauld is a systems/network specialist and educator for the Network Startup Resource Center (NSRC). On the side, Phil is a partner at bluepipe a/s. For 25 years, Phil has been providing engineering assistance and hands-on training for various NOGs (Network Operator Groups), RENs and ccTLD registries. He also works as an independent consultant for ICANN, among others.
