Showcasing the success - careers, role models and diversity in STEM
Join us for a talk about the advantages and challenges of having a different cultural background, how you can benefit from the difference - and what we can do to increase the diversity in STEM.
Workplace diversity has tangible and direct benefits - it shows on the bottom line. And role models play an important part in increasing diversity in the fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
Through personal stories, we will explore the difference it makes seeing someone relatable in your field - and why mentors, sponsors and role models are crucial, when it comes to choosing a STEM-profession.
We will hear from three women with very different backgrounds, both professionally and culturally, about their career choices, their experiences, and their professional journeys, and discuss the importance of diversity in STEM, both in Denmark and globally.
