Vibeke Andersen has participated in the research project Challenge, which uses avatar therapy in Virtual Reality to help people who hear voices and suffer from schizophrenia. The research project began in 2019 as a collaboration between Region H, Region S, Region N, and Khora Virtual Reality. Vibeke is here to share her experience of how avatar therapy in Virtual Reality has helped her.
Afterwards Simon Lajboschitz and Alexander Hauerslev Jensen will participate in a panel debate on the topic of inclusion.
This talk was part of the REALITIES conference, where we explored the potential of Digital Avatars, AR and AI Agents, which are set to redefine digital assistance. These technologies have the potential to transform work, social interactions, and access to knowledge, fundamentally changing the way we experience support and companionship in our increasingly digital lives. The conference is organized together with IT-Branchen og Realitet.io.
