Data analytics platforms are shifting towards delivering data products that have well-defined standards so that consumers know what to expect when using them. On the enterprise level, the governance aspect is crucial, especially if data is classified as confidential or restricted. When adding the public cloud component to the mix, it becomes crucial to get it right, considering that the security of the cloud systems is usually a great concern. The goal is to automate the governance process, where we can go from auto-discovery of the data classification to granular governance management. Let’s explore the options with a few examples!
