This presentation delves into the concept of digital accessibility as a means to establish a more inclusive and fair society. The speakers will illustrate common hurdles faced by people with disabilities in the online realm using practical examples, and they will emphasize the significance of incorporating inclusive design for the betterment of society.
Bio:
Inka Taagehøj is an accessibility specialist and a product owner at EVRYONE, a Danish product studio. Her work as a product owner is focusing on developing human-centric, accessible, inclusive and intuitive digital products that improve quality of life for people with disabilities.
Tobias Christian Jensen is a former web developer and marketeer, turned accessibility specialist and public speaker. He works with digital transformation and inclusivity at Siteimprove where he teaches designers, developers, and business leaders on the importance of getting digital accessibility right - and how to get there while having fun.
Together Inka and Tobias co-chair the Nordic Accessibility Community Group under W3C, promoting inclusive design in the Nordic countries.
