This webinar is a cooperation between The Danish Society of Engineers (IDA), Connected Women in AI (CWAI) and the Tuborg Foundation.
The discussion will address the persistent misconceptions that only deeply technical roles “count” in the AI space, and instead highlight the critical contributions made by those with backgrounds in fields such as communication, anthropology, psychology, education, business, and design.
We will showcase the growing need for hybrid talents who can bridge the gap between technology and human experience, illustrating how professionals from non-traditional tech backgrounds are key to building ethical, user-centered, and inclusive AI solutions. By embracing the concept of “AI on top” (where AI is layered into existing domains and skillsets) we expand the talent pool and open doors for a wider range of young women.
Speakers for this session:
- Sofie Holm, Head of GenAI Innovation Lab, Danske Bank
- Loa Brix, Program Manager, AI-kompetencepagten
- Siv Tinangon, PhD fellow, AI and consumer behavior, CBS
This session aims to inspire young women to recognize the value of interdisciplinary contributions and to rethink what it means to belong in the future of AI.
