Risks, responses, and challenges in a Danish Security
This presentation will topic of hybrid threats and risk management in four parts. It starts by situating the mushrooming hybrid threats in the current age of unpeace. It then moves on to explain the issues of organizing responses to the current hybrid threats in the Danish context. The opening parts establish a foundation on which to discuss changes to public-private relations in contemporary security politics. Finally, the implications of these changes are considered in relation to risk management.

 About the speaker: Tobias Liebetrau is a researcher at the Centre for Military Studies, Department of Political Science, University of Copenhagen. His work covers cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, hybrid threats, maritime security, emerging digital technology, and big tech companies in international politics. He frequently engages with key Danish and European stakeholders, driving strategy and policy innovation in security and defence.
