What are the opportunities for carbon capture using CO2 consuming bacteria? Join our webinar with biotech-startup SecondCircle, and learn more about their technology and their experience with going from academic research to an industrial startup.
Carbon capture and fixation may sound like a technological tool to reduce CO2 emissions, and it is, but it is also a million years old process used by plants, trees and microorganisms to produce biomass and grow.
In the green- and biotech startup SecondCircle, technology and nature meet in their use of CO2 fixating bacteria to reduce CO2 emissions from industrial off-gases, and in turn produce valuable products such as bio-chemicals, fertilizer, animal feed, or food-protein.
SecondCircle made the move from academia to startup through the BioInnovation Institute’s Business Acceleration Academy in March 2020, and recently received an Innofounder grant from Innovation Fund Denmark to accelerate the development of their business idea and get ready to go to market.
In this Webinar, SecondCircle co-founder Torbjørn Ølshøj Jensen will introduce you to their technology and share their experiences in moving from academia and into industry, within the biotechnological sector.
